We want you to know which personal data we collect on this site, how we use it, and what choices you have.

§3 Hosting
This website is hosted on T Cloud Public from Deutsche Telekom. Personal data processed through the site (for example IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, and access logs) may be stored on the hoster's servers. Hosting supports providing our online offering securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where relevant, preparing or performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The hoster processes data only as needed to deliver its service and follows our instructions.
§4 What data we collect when you visit
When you use this website, our servers temporarily record technical data such as the IP address or domain of your device, requested content, and response codes. We use these logs for IT security — especially to detect and fend off attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not build individual browsing profiles from them, and we do not pass them on for advertising. Logs are deleted after at most 7 days. We may keep anonymized statistics.
§5 Contact form, email, phone
If you contact us via the form, email, or phone, we store and process your request and related personal data (such as name and contact details) to handle your inquiry. We do not share this without your consent, unless we are legally required to. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering inquiries efficiently), or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR if we ask for consent. You can withdraw consent anytime. We keep contact data until you ask us to delete it, you withdraw consent, or the purpose no longer applies (for example after we finished helping you), subject to mandatory retention rules.
§6 Cookies and local storage
We aim to use only technically necessary storage where possible — for example to remember your language or theme preference. Optional cookies or analytics are only used if we document them and, where required, ask for your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 TTDSG).
§7 Language preference
Your selected language may be stored locally so the next visit stays in that language.
§8 External links
Links to LinkedIn, LogiHash, documentation, or other external sites are not loaded as embeds by default. Those sites process data under their own policies.
§9 Recipients and processors
We may engage processors under Art. 28 GDPR (for example hosting or email). We remain responsible for protecting your data. Processors only act on our instructions within the agreed scope.
§10 Legal obligations
In some cases we must disclose data to authorities if required by law (for example following a court order).
§11 Where data is processed
As a rule we process data in the EU/EEA. If processing happens in third countries in exceptional cases, it only occurs with appropriate safeguards or another valid GDPR transfer mechanism (Art. 44 ff. GDPR).
§12 Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability where applicable (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
§13 Complaints
You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for example the data protection authority in the state where you live or work, or where the alleged issue occurred.
§14 SSL / TLS
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption so data you send to us cannot easily be read by third parties. You can spot an encrypted connection by https:// and the lock icon in your browser.
§15 Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the stated purpose or as required by law. When deciding retention periods we consider the type and sensitivity of the data, the risk of misuse, and legal requirements.
§16 Updates
We may update this notice when the website, processors, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the current version.
